This is to protect the Runout Sensor Wire, and also to plug an additional hole to keep out dust and keep in heat when printing ASA, ABS, etc...

To install, be sure to put the side with the wire slot in first, and then press in the opposite side. The clips on the slotted side are much longer and do not want to press in without damaging them.
