This is my remote extruder that I've been tooling around with for close to two years now. It started out twice it's current size... went from dual extruder back to a single extruder... and now I think it has proven itself to be an awesome little extruder.

Currently, I only have a design for Delta configurations, but it wouldn't be hard at all to mix it into a working model for Cartesian/CoreXY designs.
What do you guys think between the hatch/hatchless models? To be honest, mine has been rock solid using E3D hotends/heatbreaks and Microswiss nozzles... try the cheap stuff and you may get jams as with any extruder assembly.
Anyways... I have enough bits and pieces to make 10 of these guys in one fashion or another, so that's where I am right now. I haven't decided on using Ebay, or just maybe have anyone interested send me a message here.
Because of the 45:1 ratio, I am using a stepper multiplier for the extruder's stepper that I designed a while back:

You might be able to get away without using one, but it really makes a difference with quick retractions.
I have a million or so videos in YouTube showing my current setup printing if you'd like to check it out. Nothing professional, and you may hear me screaming in the background from time to time :-P...

Thanks for looking guys!
