Many thanks to @bkomac for the inspiration.
I'm currently using two of his wall mounts for the Stick Up Cam.

However, the Ring Outdoor Cam Plus requires a larger mounting surface and different drilling.
Unfortunately, my mount warped slightly when I heated it up to make removing the support easier.
But this didn't affect its functionality.
