The Tiny Tyrant's Keyboard Tether: Keeping Future Spreadsheet Moguls Productive Since 2024

Design Concept

Every great office needs great equipment management — even when the office is grandpa's lap and the executive in question is still working on object permanence. This clip was born from the age-old workplace dilemma: how do you retain top talent when said talent keeps yeeting their keyboard onto the floor? The answer, as with most of life's great problems, lies in 3/4" elastic and a healthy respect for toddler ambition.

Purpose

To secure a keyboard to the lap of a highly motivated, applesauce-fueled junior analyst who has critical Excel deliverables and absolutely zero time for equipment malfunctions. The clip attaches elastic (salvaged from grandpa's sewing box, because we work with what we have) to the underside of a chair, keeping the keyboard firmly in the productivity zone and well out of the "I kicked it and now I'm devastated" zone.

Printing Recommendations

Print this bad boy on its side — smooth edges matter when you're running a professional operation. Infill percentage is entirely your call; the walls are doing most of the heavy lifting on this one anyway, so don't overthink it. It's small, mighty, and judges you for wasting filament.

Assembly Instructions

1. Locate the screws on the underside of your keyboard (they were minding their own business).
2. Thread your 3/4" elastic through the clip and screw it in place on both sides.
3. Hook the clips under the sides of the tiny executive's chair.
4. Adjust for a snug fit.
5. Step back and watch productivity soar — or at least watch the keyboard stay put, which is basically the same thing.
