3D Interlocking Ball Kit Card (Cat & Pet Toy / Desk Fidget)
I decided to test my hand at designing my first KitCard for the Creality KitCard Contest, keeping it clean, classic, and refreshingly simple: a slot-together 3D ball!
Got that odd bit of leftover filament sitting around at the end of a spool? This is the perfect project to use it up. It turned out surprisingly sturdy, rolls remarkably well, and doubles as an entertaining cat toy, pet roll-around ball, or lightweight desk fidget. If you're looking for a quick, satisfying print to test your slot tolerances or need an instant toy to keep your feline supervisor busy, this flat-pack print is ready to go.
Model Highlights:
Filament Saver: Takes little material—ideal for using up those partial spools and random sample ends.
Flat-Pack Kit Card Design: Keeps all parts organized on the bed during printing.
No Glue Required: Designed with precision friction-fit slots—just snip the pieces out and interlock them to form a 3D sphere.
Pet-Friendly & Practical: Light enough to bat around the living room floor, durable enough to survive a cat's curiosity.
Zero Support Print: Prints completely flat on your build plate with no supports needed.
Suggested Print Settings:
Material: PLA or PETG
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Infill: 15% - 20%
