I present to you...

SPINE

This is a flexible spine model I made for my chiropractor friend.

It doesn't have any purpose aside from just being fun and vaguely educational.

Everything is anatomically correct, and approved by at least one doctor according to a second-hand attestation. All 25 vertebrae, from the Atlas (C1) down to the sacrum/coccyx.

I based the models off of some files I found on a Japanese medical repository, but I modified nearly every aspect to the point where I can confidently claim Thesian originality. That being said, you can find those files on this site. 

Print Settings

I printed this on a Bambu A2L, so you may need to scale it down a bit. I tried printing this at a keychain size, but I couldn't make the chain links work at that size without making it too frail to rely on.

As far as supports, this thing prints quite terribly. There's no right way to orient a spine without having a bajillion supports all over some side, so your guess is as good as mine. 

Printed in eSUN brand PLA+. It took 121.08 g (including supports), and around 9 hours at this scale.
