Safe Box – Secret Storage Box
Safe Box is a compact secret storage box featuring a simple combination mechanism hidden inside a rotating wheel. It is designed as a fun desktop puzzle as well as a discreet place to store small valuables.

The uploaded version is intentionally kept small to reduce print time and material usage. However, the design can easily be scaled up to create a larger storage compartment while keeping the same mechanism and user experience.

How it works
The locking mechanism is based on three internal wheels separated by cylindrical spacers.

The first wheel must have a cross-shaped center hole so it can be driven directly by the front wheel.
The second and third wheels must have a simple circular center hole, allowing them to rotate independently.
A cylindrical spacer must be inserted between each wheel to ensure proper alignment and operation.
Different wheel designs are included, allowing users to create various combinations and customize the locking sequence.

To open the box, the wheels must be aligned according to the chosen combination. Once the correct position is reached, the drawer can slide open.

Combination System
The front wheel includes 9 reference marks around its perimeter:

8 regular marks divide the rotation into distinct positions.
1 longer mark represents the origin (starting position).
These markings make it easy to track wheel rotations and reproduce a chosen combination.

Before closing the box, make sure to remember your combination. Otherwise, reopening the Safe Box may require rediscovering the correct wheel positions.
