A beehive escape board consists of a thin sheet of plywood, a border of 1"x1" (¾" x ¾" actual), a 2" hole in the center and two triangles each made of 3 mitered 1"x2" (¾" x 1.5" actual) lengths (60degree) and spaced by ½". Usually this would be covered with #8 steel mesh so the bees try to go straight in and don't see the simple “maze” paths of the triangle. Bees coming through the center hole find their way right out but bees trying to go the other direction will get confused due to the mesh. This includes PETG versions of the mitered pieces, a ½" spacer, and the triangle mesh so just make the board, put the hole in the middle and glue down these pieces to form the triangle.

I really just needed the mesh so I didn't buy a whole roll just to make one of these boards. However, because others might not find angles more challenging I provided the mitered pieces. Hope this is useful for someone.
