I finally figured out a way to attach a hose behind my dehumidifier (instead of using manual drainage), and I wanted something to at least keep spiders from crawling into the hose😂😐 So I designed this cap/filter/insect-proof cover that slides on over the hose. I used a damaged hose and cut off the damaged part, so it might be a niche product, but hey, that’s why we have a 3D printer, right?!

This hat can be fitted tightly onto standard garden hoses, not on the threaded end, and can only be used on the rubber hose section.
