Since RGB30 works perfectly well with the Gameboy and Pico-8, I decided to give up on analog joysticks altogether. To fill those holes, I made some small plugs that fit in and sit flush with the front of the devices.
Initially tested on PLA with a layer height of 0.2 and 100% infill.
