Specifically designed for the model of Command hook shown in photos. I believe its sold as a Large Double Hook 4lb.
Command hooks are very useful, but I swear the plastic plate they give you must be a planned obsolescence scheme. Over time, it cracks and breaks in a very predictable manner. I've had two break so far. Instead of spending $10 to buy a whole new hook kit to replace the plate each time, try this printed version!
Recommendations
Print on side to ensure layers aren't sheared apart when in use.
Use automatic supports on build plate. You may need a sharp knife to carefully remove the supports from the rail guides. Test the rail fit before mounting to your wall.
In theory, the lower the print height, the smoother the back will be and the better it will adhere to the Command strip. I have tested 0.15 and 0.25 and both seem to work well though.
Set perimeters to something high, such as 10. There should be no visible infill in your slicer; just outer layers.
Use this at your own risk! I don't want to be responsible if the hook falls and breaks whatever you were hanging on it. I have tested multiple prototypes, but I have not tested this long-term so as far as I know it could fail in the same manner as the original after some time.
Features
Guides to attach to the hook's rails. [Photo #4.] This makes the hook much more stable and less wobbly from side to side.
Indents on top and bottom to conceal pull tab more easily, especially if you're using two Poster Strips like I am. [Photo #5.]
Lift-stopper similar to Command's original design, but larger and rounded for easier printing.
Grooves and center support just like the original design, but thicker and [hopefully] stronger.
