Parametric ravioli mold tile generated with a Blender Python script.

The model has a rounded square filling pocket, a through-hole for easier dough release, and a continuous zig-zag cutting edge around the ravioli shape. The included script can regenerate the mold at different tile sizes while keeping the cutter tooth pitch roughly constant, so larger versions get more teeth instead of oversized teeth.

Default model parameters:

• tile size: 35 x 35 mm

• base height: 8 mm

• total height with cutter: 9.4 mm

• cutter height: 1.4 mm

• bottom thickness: 0.6 mm

How to use the script:

1. Open Blender.

2. Go to the Scripting workspace.

3. Open ravioli_parametric.py.

4. Press Run Script.

5. Export the generated object as STL.

You can duplicate the tile to create larger trays, for example 2x3 or 6x6.

Printing recommendations:

• Material: PLA

• Nozzle / line width: 0.4 mm or smaller for outer walls

• Layer height: 0.2 mm

• Infill: 25%

• Perimeters/walls: 3

• Top layers: 3

• Bottom layers: 3

• Supports: not needed

• Print orientation: flat on the bed

Food contact note: if the print will touch dough, use clean printing practices and consider sealing or otherwise treating the part according to your own food-safety requirements.
