Parametric Einhell CE-AP Blower Adapter
This is a parametric remix of the original Einhell CE-AP Blower Nozzle by diegotrap.
The original bayonet side is kept from the source model so it still fits the Einhell blower connection, while the outlet side is rebuilt in OpenSCAD and can now be adjusted in the Customizer to create different adapter sizes.
This makes it easy to generate variants for hoses, ducts, custom nozzles, reducers, or other workshop / ventilation adapters without redesigning the blower connection every time.
Quick Start
You will need 2 files in the same Folder: einhell_bayonet_base.stl and Einhell_CE-AP_custom_adapter.scad
If you only want to create a new adapter size, these are the most important parameters to change:
outlet_inner_diameter
Sets the inner diameter of the outlet.
Use this to define the actual airflow opening or the size needed to match a hose or tube.
outlet_outer_diameter
Sets the outer diameter of the outlet.
Use this to control wall thickness and the outside fit of the adapter.
This value must always be larger than outlet_inner_diameter.
transition_length
Sets the length of the tapered transition between the original Einhell base and the new outlet size.
A longer transition gives a smoother shape.
A shorter transition makes the part more compact.
outlet_length
Sets the straight section after the transition.
Increase this if you want more insertion depth for hoses or more usable straight outlet length.
Recommended Workflow
Set outlet_inner_diameter to the size you need.
Set outlet_outer_diameter based on the wall thickness you want.
Adjust transition_length for a smooth or compact shape.
Adjust outlet_length depending on how long the outlet should be.
Export the STL and print.
All Parameters
facets
Controls the smoothness of circles and curved surfaces.
Higher values make the model smoother but also slower to render.
For normal use, the default value is usually fine.
base_mesh
This is the imported STL file that contains the original bayonet base geometry.
Normally this should not be changed unless you replace the base with another compatible mesh.
show_bayonet_base
Enables or disables the imported original base in the preview.
Useful for checking only the parametric outlet shape, but for the final model this should normally stay enabled.
outlet_inner_diameter
Inner diameter of the outlet.
This is one of the main design parameters and should be changed for most adapter variants.
outlet_outer_diameter
Outer diameter of the outlet.
This defines the external size of the outlet and indirectly the wall thickness.
transition_length
Length of the conical transition from the original base to the custom outlet diameter.
Useful for balancing airflow, printability, and overall part length.
outlet_length
Length of the straight outlet section after the transition.
Useful when the adapter needs more grip area, more insertion depth, or a longer straight nozzle.
overlap
A small overlap between the imported original base and the generated outlet geometry.
This helps avoid tiny gaps or non-manifold seams caused by mesh tolerances.
Normally there is no reason to change this. Small values such as 0.05 to 0.20 mm are typical.
cut_z
Defines the Z position of the cut plane where the original base and the parametric outlet meet.
This is based on the original model and should normally not be changed.
cut_inner_diameter
Inner diameter of the original part at the cut plane.
This is used so the new internal passage connects cleanly to the original base.
Normally this should not be changed.
cut_outer_diameter
Outer diameter of the original part at the cut plane.
This is used so the outer transition starts from the correct size.
Normally this should not be changed.
outlet_start_z
Derived internal value that defines where the generated outlet begins.
This is automatically calculated from cut_z and overlap.
No manual change is needed.
outlet_total_length
Derived internal value for the total generated outlet section.
This is automatically calculated from transition_length, outlet_length, and overlap.
No manual change is needed.
Notes
The bayonet side remains based on the original model so the Einhell connection stays unchanged.
The outlet side is fully parametric and intended for custom variants.
The original nozzle had a more rounded outlet transition; this remix uses a simpler parametric transition so it can be edited easily in OpenSCAD.
