Summary

This is a bit specific to my own use case, but I still want to share it in case it can help others.

 

I have an old Crescent toolbox with wrenches, ratchets, and sockets, which I've always kept in my truck. The buckle on the box broke a few years ago. I've been tying it up with a mini bungee cord, but that's always been a hassle. I disassembled the remaining parts of the buckle and used them to model a replacement buckle. It took three iterations to get the dimensions just right, but it printed out quickly.

 

I printed it with PETG, with a layer height of 0.2 mm and a 15% infill, without the need for supports.
