If your Data General Dasher D2 (6053) has broken or missing knobs on the frame, this print can serve as a replacement! Both files use a 5/16"-18 TPI nut that uses a 1/2" wrench. The specific one I used can be found at Home Depot with SKU 1006540107. (I purchased mine in store)
The regular DasherKnob.stl is designed to be mostly accurate to the original except using a nut rather than a heat-set insert. You could remix this to take such an insert for total accuracy. However, I recommend using the DasherKnobSolid.stl instead as it will be a lot stronger.
Be sure to add a pause to your print right before the layer covering the nuts. You will need to place the nuts into the print at this point before continuing the print. I printed mine using some absurd number of walls to effectively get 100% infill with a radial print pattern. It's HEFTY. I'm sure you can get away with using less filament if you'd like though. Mine were printed with Prusament Galaxy Black PETG. A more solid black may look more authentic.
These knobs will also most likely fit a Dasher model 5210. Please do let me know if you try it.
