A simple Balance Scale utilizing 608 Bearings to ensure smooth action on the balance arm.

Print Parts in the Following Amounts:

• Balance Scale Body:      Print x1

• Balance Scale Arm:       Print x2

• Balance Scale Join Pin: Print x1

• Balance Scale Platter:   Printx2

• Choose One of the Platter Arm Styles

  • Print x2 of Chosen Style

1. To Assemble Main Body & Arm Set:

   1. Press 608 Bearings into each Balance Scale Arm

   2. Place 608 Bearing on Center Pivot of One Balance Scale Arm

   3. Insert Second Balance Scale Arm's  Pivot into opposite side of 608 Bearing

   4. Rotate Arms into alignment

   5. Press Balance Scale Join Pin into place, locking Balance Scale Arms into Position

   6. Place Swing Arm Assembly on Main Body and Set aside

2. To Assemble Platter Set using Full Arm Version:

   1. Slide Platter Arm through 608 Bearing on Balance Scale Arm

   2. Press Platter Arm Set into place on Platter

   3. Repeat for other side

3. To Assemble Platter Set using Split Arm Version:

   1. Press Platter Arms into place on the Platter

   2. Gently pry Platter Arms apart and slide into place on 608 bearing on Balance Scale Arm

   3. Gently press Platter Arms together in 608 Bearing until snug

4. Balance away!

I do suggest printing the Main Body and Platters with a higher level of infill to give them some heft and prevent the arm for being too sensitive.
