Overview
Nice beefy handle for a big box hardware store 5-gallon plastic bucket with metal wire main handle.
This print is designed to be glued in place with printed dowels around the wire handle.
Slicer Suggestions
Print 2 copies of the main handle grip. Put the flat face on the print bed. Supports should not be needed since all bridging is short spans and any sagging will not matter.
Print 8 copies of the dowel.
I suggest variable layer height so the outer curves are a bit smoother.
For strength do 4 outer walls instead of the default.
Assembly with glue
To assemble, prepare one half of the handle with CA accelerator. For the other half, use CA glue inside the dowel holes, a bit on the flat face (not too much). Then install all the dowels in the side with the glue. Add a tiny dot of glue on the top of each dowel. Then sandwich the handle halves together, aligning the dowels with the corresponding holes keeping the metal bucket handle riding down the center slot of the handle. Hold tight 10 seconds for the glue to cure then you should be ready to rock and roll.
