Thinkpad x12 (first gen) with its official protective case is sturdy enough to carry around without anything else, but still need the solokey 2. Mounted this in the back with a thin double sided tape.

Of course make sure you protect your key with a password in case you lose it or someone steals it. Well, if you have it, you know better :)
