A Gridfinity base is not the most complicated model out there, but I think that the right or wrong design choices in CAD can lead to significant performance differences, even with simple models. I’ve already tried some of the available Gridfinity generators, and I think all of them are slower than what I just built by connecting a few nodes in Gerridaj.
There might be some minor issues with the size specification, since I don’t use Gridfinity yet (but I’ll give it a try now). This was literally put together in five minutes for demonstration purposes.
I definitely haven’t tried all of them, but what do you think? Is this approach actually faster, or am I just looking in the wrong places?
