This is a humidity sensor that I designed as an alternative to the crappy ones off of Amazon.
It's powered by 4 AA batteries and an ESP32. You wake the ESP32 from sleep and turn on the screen when the touchpad next to the screen is touched.
It uses an SHT31-D humidity sensor and has a display to show the humidity levels. It can also connect to the internet and use MQTT to talk to a home server if you have one.
I ended up not using a buzzer for this project even though there is a spot for it in the design because my PCB has some errors (no flyback diode, and some other issues as well).

If anyone is actually interested in making this, let me know! I'd be glad to help. There are some issues that I still need to fix with the PCB anyways.
