I made this simple case to place the Crow Panel 4.2" anywhere I wanted.
This is the panel: https://www.elecrow.com/crowpanel-esp32-4-2-e-paper-hmi-display-with-400-300-resolution-black-white-color-driven-by-spi-interface.html
Print every slt one time, place the buttons in the holes where they belong to, and slide in the Crow Panel with attached batters (use gravity so that buttons do not fall out).
The tolerances are defined so that the panel fits snuggly with an attached battery (the conenctor with cables will add 1-2 mm width. There is still plenty of room behind the panel for more stuff or even bigger batteries. So in order for the panel not to be pushed backwards when touching it, add some cushion between panel and the back of the shell.
The back shell fits into the front shell snuggly - it's hold on only by friction which is totally fine for a stationary device like this.
