The top is a two part assembly for multi filament printers.

5 legs are required, but one of the other parts

Put the five legs in the bottom, then attach the top to the other end of the legs. The center shelf slides between the legs sideways and is turned to snap into place.

Holds together well on it's own depending on precision of printer, but crazy glue works wonders.

A few years ago, I created a five sided end table with a pentagram etched into the top. I had originally designed it in FreeCAD, but redesigning it for 3D printing is so much different.

The trick is to add reference lines that are 90 degrees off of the parallel lines of the pentagram and set the length of that line to keep the pentagram even. In a FreeCAD Sketch, right click on the line in the Elements window and click "Toggle Construction Geometry." I wouldn't know what the equivalent in any other cad software would be.

I was originally going to keep the legs attached to the top for easier build, but due to the layers, it would end up vary weak. Laying the legs down made them much stronger (though not vary important at that small size.) Also it allows the texture of the plate to be put on the outside of the legs.

Some day I want to print it full size, but I need a much larger printer for that.
