Miniature Retro Lunch Box.
In a Facebook group someone was looking for a miniature lunch box so I designed this on TinkerCad.
Box Dimensions are roughly 37.6 x 42.8 x 26.1 mm.
I used a modifier negative part in the hinge area as guides to drill. I did not make it go all the way through. My thought was drill through the hinge with lid on the box so drill makes to 2 hole line up. The negative modifier just helps start the drill bit. I used a hand held pin vise to drill the holes. I used a paper clip as hinge pins and the D-Rings for the handle. I used paper clip because that's what I had on hand. I am going to try 18ga hobby wire for the handle next which is easier to shape and some hobby rods for hinge pins.
The main box has a built on support in the STL file. It will snap off with the use of pliers. You may have to clean up the lip a little.
I use printable vinyl and a Cricut to make the stickers. I used googled images, cropped, and measured the box after being printed to size the images to print and cut with Cricut.
I constructed the handle prior to gluing with accelerator to the box.
I plan on working on the design some more like increasing the lip on the box so the lid snaps closed better.
Print lid of raft I used 5 layers hinges down.
