I made these for Brineblood Marauders, a nautical-themed army for the game Warmachine. I wanted a base that shows my models emerging from the surf onto the beach. The idea with these is that you paint it, glue the model on, and then pour in some transparent resin or water effects to be the ocean waves. The high rim keeps the liquid in, and the sloped bottom has some wavy height variations that will create unique wave shapes.

Bases are 30mm diameter. There are 5 variants. There is a hole in the bottom for a 5mm x 2mm rare earth disc magnet, if you like to use a magnetic transport system for your minis.

They look great with some little shells, crabs, or starfish glued on (not included).
