i used to balance shampoo bottles on the square towel bar in my shower, but they always fell off — broke my foot — and spilled shampoo everywhere, requiring me to enlist an army of veteran shampoo recyclers on a daily basis.  i have nothing against shampoo recycling, nor the veteran recyclers, but i thought this design might solve the issue of me breaking my feet.

this shelf fits on those amazingly popular square towel bars installed from the early 1920's up to today.

NOTE: if your towel bar is being installed tomorrow, this shelf might not fit.

i also included little hook things for hanging items such as scrub brushes and soap-on-a-rope™ (i have not tested it with unbranded suspended-soap products).
