Industrial-style pulley lamp

You need a 6 mm threaded rod, cut to the appropriate length, and two 6 mm self-locking nuts. In addition, you'll need some large washers. I think I used washers with a diameter of 45 mm as counterweights, and the effect was good.

It's a bit overkill, but I used two bearings, inserting one into each pulley. The dimensions are 5x10x4 for the large pulley and 3x8x4 for the small pulley, and these are interference fits.

The cable is of the 5-millimeter diameter type.

• Be careful to ensure that the counterweight is correct and that the threaded rod does not protrude upward and obstruct the cable before bonding. Once it is glued with strong adhesive, the cover will never come off again.
