Pinball Hex Sleeve Posts – 3D Printable

I designed these hex sleeve posts to fit pinball machines after noticing that some people who were selling them didn’t want to release the files. Out of respect for the hobby and the community, I created my own versions and am sharing them here so everyone can enjoy them.

Features

• Four Sizes Included – Print and test all four, then choose the one that fits your machine best.
• Snap-to-Fit Length – Sleeves are designed with extra length. You can snap off the excess by hand or trim with scissors for a perfect fit.
• Two Variants –
  • With Bevel: Designed to hide the washer that sits under some hex posts.
  • Without Bevel: Clean, straight-sided version for posts without washers.

Printing Instructions

1. Print all 4 test sizes first. This ensures you can match your specific machine’s tolerances.
2. No supports needed. Print upright for the best layer strength.
3. Recommended settings:
   • Layer Height: 0.2 mm (plenty for this part)
   • Wall Count: 3+
   • Infill: 20–40%
   • Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS (PLA is usually plenty strong for cosmetic sleeves).
   • (For fun: I went crazy with my Iron Man machine and printed at 0.12 mm layer height — looks fantastic, but 0.2 mm is more than enough.)
4. Once you’ve identified the best-fitting size, hit “Clone” in your slicer to make as many copies as needed.
