Summary
This is a wall bracket for a remote control for a Koda ceiling light. It is designed to hold the remote firmly so you can operate the remote without having to remove it from the holder, yet easily lift it out if you desire.
I started with just a small ring to hold the base of the remote, but I quickly discovered that it really needed something to stabilize the top when pressing buttons. So I added the neck and stabilizer.
It took quite a few iterations before I got something that's strong and stable and holds the device snugly but not too tightly.
I made this holder because I was using a velcro to hold the remote to the wall, and it would flop around and require two hands to operate. Not ideal! Now, I can just touch the on/off button as though it's installed into the wall.

You may want to use a raft if the base doesn't adhere well to your bed.
How I Designed This
I am new to 3-D printing and designing, so probably someone out there who is more knowledgeable, feel free to improve on the design! I got the original shape by tracing the remote on a piece of paper, took a photo, loaded into Gimp, messed with contrast/brightness and tried to erase as much of the artifacts as possible, then output the trace as SVG (you achieve this with the layer tool; lots of good instructions on the Web). Then I imported the SVG into TinkerCAD, cleaned it up, and printed a couple of test rings to get the size right. Once I had the size and general shape down, I used a half-cylinder to make a cleaner design, and then I had to print a succession of prototypes to get it just right. The large holes in the arms are simply to save on filament.
PLA works fine with this. Just be careful prying it off your bed, especially if you (like me) use a lot of gluestick. Let it cool down, then bend/spatula it up. Do NOT grab by the neck because there is a break point and it will probably crack and ruin the job. Also, be careful when screwing it in. Don't over-tighten the screws or they can crack the neck; just snug them until bracket is firm and doesn't wiggle (use flat-head, Philips sheet metal screws #6x3/4 or so). By the way if it doesn't stick well to your bed, you might want to use a raft. I didn't find it necessary on my Prusa.
