Julianos in a D&D World
Julianos is revered as the God of Wisdom, Logic, and Scholarly Pursuits, embodying the pursuit of truth through reason and intellect. His followers believe that knowledge is the highest form of power and that understanding the laws of the universe brings one closer to divinity.

Julianos’ Tenets
Seek Truth Relentlessly: Knowledge is the foundation of all power. Ignorance is the enemy.
Order Through Logic: Chaos breeds destruction; reason brings harmony.
Preserve Knowledge: Protect libraries, archives, and scholars from harm.
Teach and Enlighten: Share wisdom freely, but guard against its misuse.
Julianos’ Followers
Priests and Clerics: Often serve as advisors, archivists, and educators.
Common Worshippers: Scholars, wizards, judges, and philosophers.
Temples: Grand libraries with towering shelves, magical wards, and lecture halls. Temples often double as universities.
Julianos’ Role in the Pantheon
Julianos is often allied with gods of law and civilization but stands opposed to deities of chaos and deceit. He is neutral toward warlike gods, seeing conflict as wasteful unless it serves a logical purpose.
Julianos in Gameplay
Clerics of Julianos gain proficiency in Arcana and History.
Channel Divinity Option: Invoke Logic – For 1 minute, you and allies within 30 ft cannot be affected by illusions or mind-altering magic unless the caster succeeds on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC.
Sacred Relic: The Lens of Clarity – A crystal lens that reveals hidden truths, granting advantage on Investigation and Insight checks.
Adventure Hooks
The Lost Codex: A fragment of The Codex of Reason has been stolen by a cult of chaos. Recover it before they twist its teachings.
The Forbidden Equation: A formula that could unravel reality is discovered in a Julianos temple. Who should control it?
The Silent Library: A temple of Julianos has gone eerily quiet. Its scholars vanished overnight, leaving cryptic notes about “the paradox.”

Divine Nature
Omniscient Logic.
Julianos cannot be fooled by illusions, shapeshifting, or deception. All illusions within 300 ft. automatically fail. Creatures attempting to lie to him must succeed on a DC 27 Charisma (Deception) check or involuntarily speak truth.
Font of Knowledge.
Julianos knows all written information throughout the multiverse. Any Intelligence check he makes counts as a natural 20.
Immutable Form.
Cannot be changed, banished, teleported against his will, or affected by time-altering magic.
Legendary Resistance (5/Day).
Innate Spellcasting
Julianos’ spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 27, +19 to hit). He can cast all wizard and cleric spells at will without components.
At Will:
Counterspell, Dispel Magic, Detect Thoughts, Arcane Eye, Legend Lore, Scrying
3/day:
Foresight, True Resurrection, Teleport, Wall of Force, Heal, Mass Suggestion
1/day:
Time Stop, True Polymorph (objects only), Wish (knowledge-based only), Mass Heal
Actions
Multiattack.
Julianos makes two attacks with the Staff of Perfect Reason.
Staff of Perfect Reason
Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target.
Hit: 32 (4d10 + 12) force damage + 21 (6d6) radiant damage.
If the target is concentrating on a spell, it automatically fails its check.
Equation of Unmaking (Recharge 5–6)
Julianos inscribes an invisible formula in the air. Up to three creatures within 90 ft. must make a DC 27 Intelligence saving throw.
On a failed save:
The creature takes 90 (20d8) psychic damage,
Their mind fractures, becoming stunned for 1 minute,
They immediately forget one spell or ability until they finish a long rest.
On a success:
The creature takes half damage and suffers no additional effect.
Axiom Field (Recharge 6)
Julianos projects a sphere of perfect logic out to a 60-ft radius for 1 minute.
Teleportation fails.
Illusions cease to function.
Creatures attempting to cast spells must first succeed on a DC 20 Arcana check or the spell fizzles.
All creatures have advantage on Wisdom and Intelligence saving throws.
Julianos is immune to all effects in the field.
Legendary Actions (3/round)
Analyze Mind.
One creature Julianos can see must succeed on a DC 27 Int save or take 22 (5d8) psychic damage and have disadvantage on all rolls until end of next turn.
Cast a Spell.
Julianos casts a spell of 4th level or lower.
Logical Step.
Julianos teleports up to 90 ft. to any space he can see.
Mythic Trait: Apotheosis of Logic (When reduced to 0 HP)
Instead of dying, Julianos ascends into a Form of Pure Reason.
He restores 360 HP.
All creatures within 300 ft. must make a DC 27 Wisdom save or be incapacitated by overwhelming knowledge for 1 round.
The battlefield becomes a Logical Singularity, altering reality:
All spells cast trigger a Wild Magic Surge-like anomaly.
The area becomes antimagic except for Julianos.
Creatures cannot willingly speak falsehoods.
Julianos gains new Mythic Actions.
Mythic Actions
Rewrite Law (Costs 2 Actions)
Julianos alters a fundamental rule of the battle. For 1 minute, choose one:
Gravity reverses.
Magic heals instead of harms (or vice versa).
All attacks automatically hit or automatically miss (Julianos chooses).
Time loops: at end of every round, reroll initiative.
Infusion of Understanding (Costs 3 Actions)
Julianos floods the area with cosmic knowledge.
All creatures of his choice in 60 ft:
Take 45 (10d8) psychic damage,
Suffer level 1 exhaustion,
Gain a random piece of true cosmic knowledge (DM’s choice).
