Had a friend who lost the base to their shockmount, I designed a replacement lower (this is the part that allows swiveling and adapt shock mount to the boom pole. This design needs a steel nut to be epoxied into the hexagonal opening at the bottom.

If you are going to use this to sling an expensive mic overhead I would recommend you choose settings that increase overall strength. Printing on it's side instead of as a tower also increases the strength of the pinch area.
Designed on my iPad with 123D by measuring part with vernier calipers.
