I'm actually very upset I had to be the one to make this. There are similar ones but nothing quite exactly like what I wanted. I am disappointed in you Printables community for not making exactly what I was visualizing in my head before I did. You are usually so good. 

This is a Switch inspired tablet dock. You just slot in your tablet and lift it out again easily. No fiddling with cables every charge. It should work with any sized tablet. Please enjoy. 

There are 3 main parts: 

• body 
• plug box (may need to be customized)
• front panel 

Plug Box

The cable box may need to change depending on where the plug hole is on your tablet, or the shape of your wire. If you need to make your own, just make sure your box is ≤20mm wide and ≤11mm deep (see picture), and that it holds your wire snugly. The height will depend on the design of your wire.

I have included two cable box options: 

1. offset plug hole (like my stupid tablet)
2. centered plug hole (what you'd expect a tablet to be like)

Front Panel

Actually completely optional and not needed for tablet docking function.  This is where you get to personalize. Slap on your own logo, name, picture, or change it altogether. The only rule is that it has to look rad.  

The front panel just slots into the two holes in the front of the body. It doesn't even have to, you could just glue something flat to the front if you wanted. The current fit is very loose, so some glue is recommended.

I am including two front panel designs: 

1. Plain ovoidal. 
2. With the Home Assistant Logo.

Assembly instructions: 

1. Put your cable into the box, put on the lid.
2. Put your box in the dock body, glue it in if necessary. 
3. Put the front panel on the body, glue it in if necessary.

I am including my Blender files in case you want to play with the geometry more than an STL would allow. Sorry about the state of it, I'm still new to Blender and my object management is truly horrendous.
