Make perfect snowmen even with powder snow!
Unlike typical snowman molds that only work with wet, packable snow, this mold is designed to work with any snow condition - including dry powder.
How to use
If you're working with powder snow, you have to pack a lot of it in there by compressing it, then adding more. Use as much force as you can, the mold can handle it. The snowmen release better when the mold is cold and dry. If your snow is really wet, it can't be compressed. Manually filling each half perfectly to the brim is not feasible, so you're better off overfilling it and cutting off the excess.
Powder snow
Fill both halves of the mold with as much snow as you can
Press them firmly against each other
Release the snowman by squeezing each half (use the grip tabs on the sides)
Repeat steps 1-3
Wet snow
Slightly overfill both halves of the mold with snow
Slide them onto each other from the side, using the edges of the mold to cut off the excess snow
Push both halves firmly together
Release the snowman by squeezing each half (use the grip tabs on the sides)
Repeat steps 1-4
Printing
No extra settings required, just hit print. Use the included print profile. PETG works great!
I print mine with the default 0.2mm QUALITY preset.
Note: if you're having bed adhesion issues on your printer, consider enabling the brim function for this print.
