Summary

I got myself a 3dFly kit from hovership, (http://shop.hovership.com/3dfly-micro-quad-kit/) after several design attempts and models found here on thingyverse I think I've landed on one I like enough to share. It is similar in design to other out there but as usual i wanted to do it myself in sketchup so I could modify things to my hearts content. The frame it self is very simple but robust with high walls around the FC to keep out water (Oregon), I have not managed to break it. I used three vibration dampeners (https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=40613) to suspend the lower section containing the FC. I soldered a led into pwm 7 and hot glued it to the flat bit on the rear of the lower section. The FC is also secured to its mounts using hot glue. To keep the motors from moving I used 4 zipties to pinch them in place. I also recommend using some heat shrink to cover the bottom end of the motors (it will save you money if you plan to keep things flying). I'm slowly collecting micro fpv gear and a fpv version is coming as well.
