How I Designed This

I made this blunder in Blender
I took the Atari logo and font, imported them and rebuilt it. Traced the 3 bold lines with bezier curves, used text function with the Atari font for the letters, and made a custom beveled background in the shape and size of the logo background from a cube.
Once I had the letters and lines in the correct scale and shape I converted them from curves to meshes, extruded them down halfway into the background, boolean difference them into the background, and made the top of the letters/lines level with the raised background border.
Add a little color and boom, boredom fixed for an hour and a 3D Atari logo was born.
