As Javin Carelse @jdcarelse stated, the original model was the perfect candidate for a gridfinity base, as that was exactly what I needed, and figured I'd remix it myself. I made both a 2x2 as they sugested, but also made a 2x3, as i figured with the weight of the iron and the cord would cause the base to tip. Both models have the standard gridfinity magnet holes to help stay in place as well.
