Summary
I recently had the privilege to give a presentation to a bunch of high-school students who were attending a STEM outreach event at a local university. The presentation was about how science, technology, engineering and math (the four STEM fields) help make things like quadcopters, virtual and augmented reality systems, and 3D printing possible and that more scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians are needed.
To help bring home some of what is possible from those fields, I designed and 3D printed a small medallion using a STEM logo I found through a Google search to give to the kids. Here's that design.

Instructions
The STEM Medallion consists of 6 parts. One each of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math pie pieces fit inside a Base and are locked in place using one of the locking flanges. I've provided two different sized locking flanges - I found that different colors and formulations of filament have different properties which can affect the printer's precision and which can make one of the two flanges fit better than the other.
I wanted this to a be a press-fit solution and in some cases that worked well - using the handle-end of a screw-driver to push the locking flange into place. This process locks the pie pieces into place pretty well but I would recommend using a dab of instant-glue at the center to lock the pie pieces and the flange together, making it less likely they will pop out of the base.
This was printed on a MarkerBot Replicator 2 using Makerbot and Matterhackers PLA. I used standard quality (200 micron layer thickness) and 10% infill for all pieces except the locking flange, which is 100% infill.
