Summary
This clip is for mounting a camera using a 1/4" bolt or a cheap ball-head (like this: http://www.amazon.com/Professional-Mini-Ball-Camera-Mount/dp/B000L47AHG/ref=pd_sim_p_2) to 8020 rail. The clip is strong enough that I would trust my Canon SX10IS to it in either vertical or horizontal positions. It snaps in and holds on tightly. I'll be using it to hold my camera while running CHDK to make time-lapse video of 3D prints.
Instructions
I printed with Octave Fluorescent Red ABS at 235C using a 3mm brim (and one end still lifted a little), 0.25mm first layer and 0.2mm for other layers. I turned off retraction and avoided crossing perimeters, 30% fill, etc.
I got a little splitting but it doesn't seem to affect performance. Printing with 100% fill might prevent the splitting.
