Raspberry Pi, submerged!

This is using a standard round 3 gallon fish tank from Walmart.
3 Gallons of Animal grade Mineral Oil (Mineral oil is non-conductive and widely used in Power pole transformers)

I adapted the filter base that came with the tank and removed the 1 1/4 inch up tube from the center. Then fabricated the Raspberry Pi stand to attach to the hidden filter base. The stand has a center hole up the shaft so you can run the tubing needed for the bubble effect.

Side Note: The Raspberry Pi SD card slot must have a tight fit and we had to start over a couple of times due to the card coming loose and the card being fouled to where it would not boot.

** Personal Note: We have been working and experimenting with mineral oil for several years now. Its not for the timid. It is messy and if one thing goes wrong, you have to painstakingly remove the oil and let the device drip for several days.
In the past, we have submerged full computers and a couple of XBox 360's!
