At present, I am modifying the Anet A8 and plan to upgrade it to a Bowden-style extruder layout. I have always disliked installing consumables directly into the original extruder head, and I hope to make the print sliders more lightweight in order to improve the running efficiency and stability of the entire machine.
The solution uses Anet's original bed leveling sensor and is paired with the original radial fan for component cooling. The hot end is compatible with the E3d V6
The sensor offset is set to: X axis -22.5mm, Y axis 0mm.
At present, this modification scheme is still in the testing phase. If you are interested in trying it out, you might as well experience it yourself and provide your feedback and suggestions for improvement at any time.
Update content of Version V0.2:
- The airflow path design of the component cooling fan has been optimized, enabling the airflow to be more precisely directed towards the molded parts while reducing the direct blowing on the nozzles.
- The radius of the belt fixing seat has been increased to facilitate the installation and positioning of the belt.
