After long-term use of the GMount design with a single nozzle, I'm proud to introduce this dual-nozzle GMount solution. This design was inspired by the standard version of the Geetech Prusa i3X model - which is equipped with a dual-nozzle configuration and features MK8 nozzles. It's worth noting that this GMount is specifically designed for the pitch of Geetech's standard X-type sliders, which is not fully compatible with the standard specifications of the original Prusa i3 model.
Compared to the Bowden-type transmission, I personally prefer the direct drive solution. Because the direct drive method is almost compatible with all types of printing materials, especially when printing with both rigid and flexible materials at the same time, the advantages are particularly obvious.
The X-axis offset of the nozzle on the right side relative to the right guide rail should be roughly controlled at around 32mm.
Product highlights:
- Only supports MK8 nozzles
- The design of the dual nozzle slot is mainly compatible with the E3D V6 nozzle
- It can be flexibly combined with Bowden transmission, direct transmission, or semi-direct transmission
- Modular design, which is convenient for quick disassembly, installation, and upgrading
- The Y-axis guide rail remains unchanged
