To welcome Halloween, I dressed up as a half-elf thief/ranger. To add a touch of uniqueness to my look, I decided to create a simple yet distinctive 3D-printed weapon by myself. After carefully comparing several different types of daggers, I finally chose to model a dagger in the medieval Celtic style.
The dimensions of the short dagger are as follows:
- The total length after the whole production is completed is about 395 millimeters
- The length of the blade after assembly is about 235 millimeters
- The length of the blade when it is not assembled is about 253 millimeters
- The width of the blade at the handle guard is about 25 millimeters
- The length of the assembled knife handle is about 137 millimeters
This short dagger is composed of three parts, and the parts fit tightly together, with little need for glue to fix them. However, due to the extremely strict tolerance requirements, if you want the parts to fit perfectly and be smoothly assembled into place, you may need to lightly polish or adjust some parts.
Sword sheath design:
The sword sheath is also divided into two main parts - I designed three upper parts and two lower parts respectively, and the two parts can be freely combined
