I like itJosh-3D's small parts storage boxThe design and size of the box, but I really wanted a box that wouldn't split into two parts—and so the hinged parts box was born!

 

These boxes are perfect for storing small hardware items such as bolts, screws, and bearings. They are printed in one piece with sturdy and durable hinges, using only 33 grams of consumables, without the need for support, and can be printed in less than an hour! Each box has a space on the front for placing a 40x14mm label. A small clip secures the lid when closed, and thanks to the included feet, they can be stored flat or upright on the hinges.

 

The standard boxes I designed are the same size as Josh's model, which is 70x70x25mm, so they can also be placed in existing organizer trays. For smaller items, there are versions with internal compartments divided into two or three sections to choose from. For storing larger items, there are versions that are taller, wider, and taller and wider, as well as Gridfinity trays suitable for them. For ergonomic reasons, these versions have different dimensions from Josh's extra-large version - I found 140mm too wide and not convenient for comfortable opening

 

These boxes print well with standard PLA, but they print even better with PETG. I don't recommend using PLA Matte or PLA Silk. There's also a transparent configuration available. Although the printing time will be significantly longer, it allows you to create semi-transparent prints that make the contents of the box visible.
