After building the fantastic AMS riser by Sanja 3D and some of the associated accessories, I found myself walking back and forth to my desk to get tools … the riser has rails on the side, so riser + tools = toolbox. Simple.
That AMS Riser has made my life so much easier, as I no longer have to disassemble or move anything to work on the printer, and regulating the chamber temperature is so simple now.
This tool caddy is a straight forward design that simply slots onto the left or right side rail, and its weight + tools holds it snugly in place.
IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTICE: Printing vertically (as provided in the main profile), requires no supports. Once it has printed, simply push IN on the tabs marked in yellow on the attached picture, and these temporary built-in support will snap off. These must be removed prior to mounting on the AMS riser's rail! When I removed mine, they snapped of cleanly with no post-processing required.
This method saves a couple of hours, and a heap of filament compared to using standard / tree supports.
If it's too tight to push in due to tolerances or filament variances, simply shave some off the top front edge of the hooks where. It is supposed to be a tight fit, to stop it from rattling, and to prevent it being knocked off if you grab a tool and there's not many other items in the toolbox.

I printed mine in Bambu PLA Matte Charcoal, but any filament should be plenty strong enough.
Note: The picture was the prototype with temporary hooks and stand-offs. The published profile sits snug up against the printer.
