I made this compact housing in Tinkercad, as part of my workilght project. The box itself features a 12mm hole for a panel-mounted 5.5mm barrel jack and a recangular hole (13 x 8 mm) for a rocker switch. For the output, there are two 5mm holes on the sides. Ventilation is also taken care of, by having grills both on the side and the top. Additionally, I've added slots for screws, so that it can be mounted on a vertical surface.

The entire assembly consists of two parts, the main box and a lid. Both can be easily attached by a single M4x20mm hex socket screw (max. 7mm head) and a M4 heat insert.

Dimentions of the box are only 55 x 55 x 25 mm. You might get away with not using support, as there are no hard overhangs (except the switch), printing with PLA is possible - if you're not planning to pull high amps (so far worked for me, even under direct sunlight.)

I started 3D modeling a while back and I’m still learning a lot. I’m currently a student with the ambition of becoming an engineer. I want my models to be available for anyone to build, so I’m not selling them. If you like what you see, or if you have tips to share, feel free to leave a comment.
