Summary
The JVC KD-AR390 car stereo has a design flaw which causes breakage of the tuner/select control button. I redesigned the button from scratch so it is only one piece, eliminating the possibility of another lost cap, and strengthened/redesigned the underside so it is self-aligning and less prone to breaking. Not the prettiest solution but my radio works again!
