Summary
I am sharing this project currently to see if there is interest in me actually ironing out all the bugs that are invariably still present. If I get a bit of positive feedback I will be sure to carry on with this as a shared model.
If it is functional, as I hope it will be, I would suggest it over the earlier spoolholder I have shared only because in my experience the vertical holder causes the filament to be ground up by the stock extruder's metal body at the entrance. I believe an offset location will help mitigate this.
All that said, I haven't even printed this yet myself. The hole spacing "looks" good. Looks aren't everything. :) I plan to print sections to help me find fitment issues that aren't readily apparent.
I have included basically two different versions. The spoolholder and melziholder are the full models to date with everything hopefully where it needs to be. The mainbody, bodytail, holderleft, and holderright are broken up to hopefully fit the X1s bed area. Once all the sections are printed, the body and tails can be superglued together as well as the halves of the melziholder.

6 layers top and bottom as well as 6 shells. I am using this formula because Maker's Muse suggested it compared to something like 100% infill and the typical 3 top and bottom and 3 shells.
