This small box features an integrated hinge and latch design. It was originally conceived as a storage box for fly fishing baits - used with foam lining inside - but it was also a challenging attempt to explore how to design a hinge as an integrated structure that can be successfully printed without the need for supports, pins, or additional hardware.
On one side of the hinge, there is a hemisphere, and on the other side, there is a slightly larger hemisphere with a hollow design. The two parts are connected by a 45-degree diagonal brace, which achieves the perfect effect of printing without support.
This design cleverly utilizes the rounded-corner box algorithm that I found online.

Update: I've just added the flipped versions of the .stl and .scad files, so you can print them directly without having to flip the models manually.
