This is a small thing to hold a 12mm diameter compass on a paracord, it was designed to add to a Swiss Army Knife, my original intention was to add the compass to the scales but the SAK has a number of magnetic tools which prevent it working and I couldn't figure out a way to lock the compass in place on the scales and then unlock it for use away from the SAK - I'll perhaps come back to this problem in the future as it would be a more elegant solution.

Polish the edges using ultra fine grit emery cloth (I used 400grit sand paper, 2400,3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000 grit cloths designed for plastics this gives a glossy finish
