I had a Lidl shop vac with power take off, It cost me all of £10 in the returns bin some 13 years ago.
The bearings gave up on the motor I changed them but the housings were worn, It lasted another year. 

I removed the wiring harness to use the power take off part. The new vac plugs into the white socket and saw into yellow

It works for me and thought I would share I am a total new boy about 3 months printing and less using design
