The models allows to clamp, drill the pilot holes and prepare the holes for confirmat screws.

The pictures are made with some scraps, in reality much bigger plates are being joined, while the printed models allow to initially set them with the right angle and make the repeatable drilling without additional measurements. 

The pilot holes are made out of the aluminium tube inserted into the printed model, the tubes are arround 4mm inside diameter. Could be made out of sth better, initially wanted to put some tiny bearings, but did not have any spare one available.

The procedure is:

• the bigger part allows to make the corner with 2 x 18mm laminated plates, the part is strong so use the additional clamps to secure the plates, 
• the holes and guiding lines allows to visually check and adjust the plates 
• once the plates are set, put the smaller part onto the bigger like on the photo
• the smaller part is having the guiding holes allowing to drill right in the center of the 18mm laminated plate - make the pilot holes with 4mm drill 
• once the pilot hole is drilled, remove the smaller part,
• re-drill the already drilled pilot holes, but this time with the drill for the confirmation screws
• once drilled, use the confirmat screws to make it set

and done.
